Rachel graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where she received her Bachelors of Science in Biology. She then went on to serve her community as part of City Year where she discovered her passion for education. She received her Masters of Teaching at Boston University and then taught at Fenway High School and is currently a science teacher at Little Rock Central High School.
Rachel was part of Think Big Little Rock as the Education Task Force Chair and believes students deserve an education that promotes their ability to take ownership of their community as positive change agents. Art has the ability to give students a voice to express their view of the world and make positive impacts on the people around them. Rachel is excited to be part of an organization that not only focuses on building the arts community in Little Rock, but in educating others on how to be part of the conversation.
