Molly Allen

Producer

MOLLY ALLEN (Executive Producer) has worked in film for almost three decades. Most notably, Molly served as Executive Producer on the ground breaking film Jungle Book, directed by Jon Favreau and the Academy Award and Golden Globe nominated Fences starring Viola Davis and directed by Denzel Washington, which marked the fifth time that Molly worked with Mr. Washington. Additionally, she has been an Executive Producer, co-producer, associate producer, unit production manager and production supervisor on critically acclaimed projects, Jon Favreau’s CHEF, Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained, Academy Award nominated The Town, Golden Globe nominated The Great Debaters, box office hit The Equalizer, Seven Pounds starring Will Smith and many more.

Allen began her career working her way through various departments of filmmaking, eventually becoming a location manager. Before segueing into producing, Allen was the location manager on over 30 celebrated films like Iron Man, Constantine, Along Came Polly, Antwone Fisher, Vanilla Sky, and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Most recently, Molly wrapped as consulting producer on her first TV series, HBO’s The Undoing, which was created by Big Little Lies showrunner David E. Kelley and stars Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant. She is currently in pre-production on Hulu’s Nine Perfect Strangers as a co-executive producer. The series stars Nicole Kidman and Melissa McCarthy, and is adapted from the bestselling novel by Liane Moriarty, who originally wrote the Big Little Lies novel.
