ACS is honored to host a Filmland: Arkansas Showcase during Thursday Night Film Series presented by the Fort Smith International Film Festival. We will screen Poets Are the Destroyers by Bentonville native Nancy Pop. The film tells the story of a young poet who faces crippling writer's block amidst an unexpected pregnancy. It was a Filmland: Arkansas 2022 feature selection. Director + producer Nancy Pop will be in attendance. A Filmmaker Mixer will start at 6 p.m. Local poets will read works alongside the director. Show starts at 7 p.m. A Q+A will follow the film. A $5 donation is suggested.
