ACS is excited to announce the return of Science on Screen® with The Pollinators, a documentary about how our complex food system rests on the wings of the honey bee and the commercial beekeepers that move them from farm to orchard, pollinating the crops that we eat.

This virtual screening occurs on March 3rd at 6 p.m. via Eventive and is part of our continued relationship with The Coolidge Corner Theatre's Science on Screen® series, with major support from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with Lauren Anderson, Apiary Manager, Educator, and owner of Calm and Confidence; Tobby Bond, Apiary Manager from Cameroon, Africa; Danny Brewer, Apiary Inspector and owner of DBee's Nature; Jeremy Bemis, co-owner of Bemis Honey Bee Farm; Steve Turner, founder of Honeymoon Farms; and Marthella Johnson, Bee Enthusiast from Little Rock, AR; moderated by ACS Director of Education Rachel Norris Wilson. The screening is free, but registration is required.
