From writer/director Harry Lighton, his debut feature, Pillion is sure to be the hottest romance we see this year. Pillion stars Harry Melling and Alexander Skarsgård. The synopsis reads: “A timid man is swept off his feet when an enigmatic, impossibly handsome biker takes him on as his submissive.”

Critics are already raving: Pillion currently holds a 100% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, calling it an “unconventional romance that soars thanks to its nonjudgmental perspective and knockout performances.” Pillion premiered in the Un Certain Regard section of the 2025 Cannes Film Festival to rave reviews. It won the section's prize for Best Screenplay and the Palm Dog for Mutt Moment (an international critics award for films featuring canines), alongside nominations for the Caméra d'Or and the Queer Palm.
