The Tramp is coming to Little Rock! Charlie Chaplin’s beloved character sets out to find gold out West, but things don’t go quite as planned in the classic silent film The Gold Rush.Join the Arkansas Cinema Society and Trinity Episcopal Cathedral for a special screening of this timeless favorite. Set inside the cathedral’s stunning sanctuary, the evening will blend the beauty of film and music in a truly unique atmosphere. Enjoy live musical accompaniment by renowned organist Jason Roberts, filling the space with sound as Chaplin’s story unfolds on screen.The screening will be held Friday, Nov. 7 at 7:00 pm. Doors open 30 minutes before the show. Tickets are $20. Come experience Chaplin’s magic in a gorgeous setting.

About Jason Roberts

Jason Roberts is Associate Music Director at St. Bartholomew's Church in New York City. An active recitalist, he has recently presented programs for national conventions of the Association of Anglican Musicians and the American Guild of Organists. He is the winner of the 2008 AGO National Competition in Organ Improvisation and the 2007 Albert Schweitzer Organ Competition, and he has been a finalist at competitions in St. Albans, England, and Harlem, The Netherlands. Jason graduated from Rice University, the Yale Institute of Sacred Music, and the Manhattan School of Music, where his teachers included Clyde Holloway, Martin Jean and McNeil Robinson. He has performed at venues such as  Princeton University Chapel in New Jersey, Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, and Westminster Abbey in London.
